Charis provides project management services that align to the strategic priorities for our clients.

We use proven techniques that Charis consultants have applied to agile, waterfall, and hybrid projects that range from very large and complex to smaller, targeted component-based projects. Our processes quickly and efficiently manage scope, schedules, cost, resources, risks/issues, and change management. We manage our projects at a detailed-level, but we believe that status reporting should be visual, and that simpler, exception-based status reporting is the best approach. We validate that our projects provide operational efficiency, drive business performance, and build business value. We have expertise in developing tasks that foster adoption and acceptance and drive success in project execution.

Because of our expertise in complex project management, our consultants are also called upon to perform vendor management and facilitation for both the State and larger System Integrators. Charis consultants manage and/or support the work of a diverse set of State and contractor entities to successfully achieve project goals. 

Organizational Change Management:

Charis provides the change management capabilities, toolsets, and approaches to help our clients successfully navigate and implement their change initiatives.

Our change practitioners are certified in multiple change management methodologies (such as Prosci® and the ACMP's Standard for Change Management) and bring proven experience planning, managing, and implementing change strategies at the organization, team, and individual level. We recognize the importance of managing the change process in a thoughtful manner, as Organizations and individuals have unique needs and progress at different rates.

Implementation Planning, Management & Readiness Assessments

Our Implementation methodology includes our proven framework and key steps that have been successful on large, statewide implementation projects.

It complements agile, waterfall, and hybrid development projects. An effective implementation methodology requires an integrated project readiness assessment approach. The readiness approach should provide decision makers a comprehensive measure of readiness, considering people, process, and technical readiness components. Our readiness assessment approach provides the structure, tools, and processes to enable an Organization to meaningfully verify the status of key activities and milestones and confidently validate that the system and key stakeholders are ready for production.
